I signed up to a 2 hours social game at my local lawn bowl that had recently converted some of it lawn bowling area into pickleball courts. Included in this 2 hours were the court and gear so all I had to do was bring myself along in my comfortable athletic gear to play the games. I have since signed up as a local member and is now able to book the court or sign up for the social game at a very low price with all the gears provided by the club.
If you cannot find such a club here are the essential kits you need:
Pickleball Paddle
